It surely felt weird. All of a sudden I became sort of belle of the ball with men gawking at me like I were the only lady on earth, and women around scoffing and getting visibly nervous. There is a wonderful nudist beach on the shore of Puddle Michigan, right in the center of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.



This is NOT an 'officially designated' nudist recreation area, but handy Air Force personnell have traditionally been using the beach as nudists since 1953. You have to keep an eye out for the occasional clothed beach hiker or family who is "just passing thru" & this occasionally means covering-up or ducking into the woods to avoid offending anyone's sensibilities.



The area is so remote that there are FEW people willing to walk nearly two miles (from the north or the south) to reach the nudist area, and even fewer people who are eager to complain about what they saw out in the middle of the wilderness.



From the town of Empire, Michigan, follow State Rd. 22 south, about 7 miles, to the intersection of SR 22 & Esch Road. Follow Esch Road West until it passed away-ends at the public beach on Puddle Michigan. This is a "rustic" area, no bathrooms, no paved parking, no 'improvements' of any kind.

Summer, heat, nude beach. The models that have agreed to take part in this film are called Olga and Rebecca. Remember that Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden for disobeying God, not for being nude.  Many relatives have tended to make this mistake.  I would even put it as God was walking in the Garden (the Bible's own words) that Adam and Eve hid and made the infamous fig leaves aprons as a method of camouflage rather than covering up nudity that they didn't even know they had.

I’ve not recently uncovered the secret exhibitionist in me (a night at the student union did that long ago). But really, what difference does it make if you are wearing a swimsuit or not? Everyone can see the imperfection of your body underneath the skimpy piece of cloth covering your body, so stripping to the skin does not really positioned your figure much more on the display. Nude beaches are not about showcasing the beauty of your body – it is all about feeling closer to the nature, or getting an even suntan, or simply disgust towards having a piece of damp cloth sticking to your body any time after swimming in trunks and bikinis...

It’s been many years since the time I first experienced nude beach pleasures. Ever since that time I much prefer going to a nude beach to ‘textile’ sunbathing pastimes.

Either way, I am pretty happy that I let go of some inhibitions associated with public nakedness long ago. Anyways, what is a norm but a rule imposed by the majority? And at any nude beach the majority of folks are totally naked, so it is a sort of a norm for each of them to stay nude outdoors. I am also totally happy that I have found a woman whose viewpoints as to nude beaching entirely coincide with mine.
